Thank you for another great year. Without participants we wouldn’t have an event. This year was our largest event so far. The weather was outstanding and despite some Covid rules, the event was an overwhelming success. Please don’t forget, we are hosting the National DOG next year and will not be having the East Coast DOG until 2023. The National DOG dates will be the weekend after Labor Day as well, September, 8-11 2022. We are looking forward to seeing all the familiar faces, along with many new ones. If you would like more information, you can visit the website at www.ndog2022.com. Hope to see you there!
The East Coast DOG is open to anyone who has an interest in Dutch oven cooking, regardless of your skill level. We encourage everyone to come and join us for a fun day of learning, cooking, meeting some great people and of course eating. Whether you are a seasoned veteran, or have never touched a black pot before, there is always something for you at the East Coast DOG. We will be having Dutch oven classes, a one pot cook-off, and a potluck dinner at the end of the day. We are also not far from Gettysburg, Hershey, and Lancaster, if you would like to do some sightseeing. If you aren’t sure you are ready to cook, the public is welcome to come and talk with any of the cooks participating. So bring your iron, and cook up some goodness. It is going to be a great event, and we hope you will join us.
Thanks for visiting! Please, also visit our sponsors and participants websites below. Without their support, we wouldn’t be able to put on this great event.
